In 2020, Marwe standardized the profile geometry of the 80 mm wheels for all techniques. The wheels can therefore be used for any technique (skating or classic) with an optional configuration of the reverse locks. More information about the Marwe wheels can be found here.
Also the 80 mm rubber wheels are known for their durability and snowlike speeds. The wheel set provides best grip also in wet conditions.
Because the wheels decrease in diameter during their term, we recommend to change all 4 wheels.
The set includes 2 wheels with mounted bearings, axles and - depending on configuration also with reverse locks.
For a complete set (4 wheels) you have to order 2 sets.
The Marwe classic and combi roller skis are factory-equipped with reverse locks in front wheels. For this configuration you choose 1 set with reverse locks and 1 set free rotating for a complete set of wheels.
For practicing only skating style all wheels should be configured as free rotating. Since the wheels wear off more when skating than in the classic technique, we recommend that you ensure that all wheels wear out evenly and change the wheels regularly between the front and rear axles. The wheels should not be switched left/right (no change in rolling direction) - to ensure even wear of the left and right running surface, simply change the roller ski from left and right regularly.
